OHS Management System

OHCS facilitate development and formulation of an OHS Management System. The OHS management system is documented in line with AS/NZS 4804: 2001 Occupational health and safety management systems – General guidelines on principles, systems and supporting techniques.

Employers have a legal responsibility to provide and maintain a safe and healthy workplace environment. The purpose of the OHS management system is to systematically reduce the possibility of accident, illness, injury or fatality in the workplace by ensuring that workplace hazards are eliminated or mitigated in a systematic manner. An OHS management system will establish sound policies and procedures essential for the efficient and effective management and maintenance of health and safety at a workplace.
